Are you an aspiring student in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology or Orthopaedic Cast Technology?
The Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT), located in Igbobi, Lagos, is pleased to invite all candidates who selected these programs in the 2022 JAMB UTME with a minimum score of 120 to participate in the Post UTME screening exercise.

Screening Exercise Details:
Date: 29th September 2022 Venue: FECOT Lecture Theatre, National Orthopaedic Hospital Compound, Igbobi-Lagos Time: 10.00 am prompt
Payment:
Every candidate is required to pay a screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only. The payment should be made into the College account via the Remitta platform.
What to bring:
To ensure a smooth screening process, candidates are required to bring the following documents/items:
- Two (2) recent passport photographs with a white background.
- Original SSCE/NECO Certificate or a printout of the result from WAEC/NECO.
- UTME printout and result slip.
- Change of Course Institution Slip (if applicable).
- Certificate of State of Origin.
- Certification of Birth/Affidavit.
FECOT Courses:
The Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT) offers two exciting programs:
- Orthopaedic Cast Technology: This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to fabricate and apply various types of casts used in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions. It covers the principles of casting, materials, techniques, and patient care.
- Prosthetics & Orthotics Technology: This program focuses on the design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Students learn how to assist individuals with disabilities to regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
