Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Post UTME Admission Form 2023

Attention all candidates who recently took part in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)! We have some important information for you regarding the upcoming Post UTME screening exercise at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) in Effurun for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Please take note of the following details:

1. Eligibility: If you selected PETROLEUM TRAINING INSTITUTE, EFFURUN as your first choice institution and scored 130 and above, you are eligible to apply for the Post UTME screening exercise.
2. Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose PTI as their first choice but scored 130 and above can still apply for the screening. However, it is necessary to change your first choice to PTI before the screening date.
3. Application Dates: The online application process will commence on Monday, 29th May 2023, and conclude on 3rd July 2023. Ensure that you complete your application within this timeframe.
4. Screening Schedule: The screening exercise is scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th July 2023. Make sure to mark these dates on your calendar.
5. Application Fee: There is an application fee of ₦2,000 for the Post UTME admission form. The payment procedure is as follows:a. Visit the official PTI website at www.pti.edu.ng b. Click on the “Admission Menu” and select “Post UTME Screening” c. Fill in the required details on the “Sign-on” page and click on “Click Here to sign up” at the bottom. d. Note down your username and password for future reference and submit your information. e. You will be directed to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page, where you can generate your RRR code. f. Print the RRR code page and proceed to any bank to make the ₦2,000 payment. Ensure you keep the RRR printout for your records. g. After making the payment, return to the PTI website (www.pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application.” h. Log in using your username and password, then fill in the online Post UTME screening form. This form must be presented at the Examination/Interview center, along with your RRR code printout, JAMB result, and O’Level result.
6. Accurate Information: It is crucial to enter your correct JAMB registration number, valid mobile phone number, and email address during the application process. PTI will use these details to communicate with you. Please ensure that all information provided is accurate and matches your registration documents to avoid any disqualification.

Important Points to Note:

• In case the portal rejects your username and password during subsequent logins after payment, please send an email to itsupport@pti.edu.ng, stating your RRR code. Alternatively, you can use the Re-query option at the bottom of the page for assistance.
• Prior to filling out the application form, candidates must carefully read the instructions on the website’s front page.
• At the application stage, verify that your JAMB registration number and email address are correct, as any errors may result in the invalidation of your application.
