UNIBEN Post UTME Form and Registration Details for 2023/2024 Session

To be eligible for the UNIBEN Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Obtain a minimum score of 200 marks in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for all courses.
  2. Choose UNIBEN as their first choice during the 2023 UTME registration.
  3. Have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, GCE O/L, NECO, or their equivalent. These credits must include Mathematics and English, along with three other relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings. However, candidates applying for the MB.BS degree program require just one sitting.

Application Process:

The UNIBEN Post UTME application process will be conducted online on the university’s eCampus portal (http://ecampus.uniben.edu.ng) from July to August 2023. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the application process:

Phase 1:

  1. Visit the UNIBEN eCampus portal and click on the “ONLINE APPLICATIONS” link.
  2. Select the “REGULAR” link under the Programme section to proceed to the payment information page.
  3. Generate a PIN and make note of it as it will be required to access your application information.
  4. Click on “Start Application” and provide your JAMB registration number on the subsequent page.
  5. Choose your second and third course choices and upload a passport photograph that meets the specified requirements.
  6. Wait for the passport photograph to upload fully and proceed to the Payments Slip Page.

Phase 2:

7. Print the Payment Confirmation Slip and take it to any of the designated banks listed on the UNIBEN website.

  1. Submit the Payment Confirmation Slip to the eTranzact desk officer in the bank and pay the UTME screening fee of N1,000.
  2. Obtain an eTranzact payment confirmation receipt.

Phase 3:

10. Return to the online portal to complete your application.

  1. Enter your Application PIN and follow the instructions.
  2. After completing the Payment Slip Page, your Screening Schedule Slip will display with details of your test date, venue, and time.
  3. Review and print your application summary.
  4. Finally, click the “Close Application” button to submit your application. Note that once closed, you cannot edit the application.

Requirements for Screening: On the day of the screening, candidates are required to bring the following:

  1. An HB pencil and eraser.
  2. Four-figure table (where applicable).
  3. Photocopies of the Screening Schedule Slip and the eTranzact Payment Receipt, along with their original copies for identification and submission of photocopies.

Grouping of Courses for Screening: The courses for screening at UNIBEN are divided into four groups:

  1. First Group (Social Sciences): Education – Management Sciences, Education – Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Mathematics and Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics.
  2. Second Group (Physical Sciences): Education – Physical Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Technical Education.
  3. Third Group (Life Sciences): Agriculture, Basic Medical Sciences, Dentistry, Education Life Sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy.
  4. Fourth Group (Arts): Law, Arts, Education Arts.
