Admission Requirements: To be eligible for admission to the American University of Nigeria, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minimum JAMB score of 180 or JAMB’s yearly official cut-off score.
  2. Obtain at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in their O’ level results, with no more than two sittings.
  3. Engineering and Technology applicants must have a credit level in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, and Physics.
  4. Engineering and Technology applicants are also required to have at least a pass in UTME, with additional credit levels in Mathematics and Technical Drawing preferred.
  5. Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors) program applicants must possess at least a credit in Literature-in-English in addition to other required subjects.
  6. Submission of JAMB, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and IGCSE scores, as well as SS1, SS2, and SS3 transcripts.
