Special Consideration (Waiver):
- The University of Ibadan requires 5 or 6 ‘O’ level credit passes in subjects including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Wood Work, Technical Drawing, Economics, and Geography.
- MAUTECH requires Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Agricultural Science/Geography/Further Mathematics/Technical Drawing/Marketing/Auto Mechanics/Auto Mechanical Work.
- RSUST accepts ‘O’ level credit pass in Agric. Science or Biology as the fifth subject.
JAMB Subject Combination:
According to JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board), the following are the three (3) JAMB subject combinations for studying Agricultural & Environmental Engineering at any Nigerian university:
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics
Special Consideration (Waiver):
- RSUST requires ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in addition to UTME requirements. They also accept Biology/Agric Science and Chemistry.
Direct Entry Requirements: If you wish to gain admission through Direct Entry, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- A level passes or their equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.
Special Consideration (Waiver):
- The University of Ibadan accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics, as well as ND/HND upper credit to 200/300 levels, respectively, in addition to UTME requirements. Further Mathematics may not be compulsory but is advantageous for all Engineering Courses.
- MAUTECH accepts ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics or their equivalents.
- FUNAAB accepts ND upper credit in Agricultural Engineering or relevant programs.
- NDU requires ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, along with five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes, including Use of English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
