WAEC GCE Timetable for 1st Series 2023

  • Igbo 2 (Essay): 2 hours (9:30 am – 11:30 am)
  • Igbo 1 (Objective): 1 hour (11:30 am – 12:30 pm)
  • Yoruba 2 (Essay): 2 hours (9:30 am – 11:30 am)
  • Yoruba 1 (Objective): 1 hour (11:30 am – 12:30 pm)

Wednesday, 1st February, 2023:

  • English Language 2 (Essay): 2 hours (9:30 am – 11:30 am)
  • English Language 1 (Objective): 1 hour (11:30 am – 12:30 pm)
  • English Language 3 (Test of Orals)**/****: 45 minutes (2:00 pm – 2:45 pm)

Thursday, 2nd February, 2023:

  • Financial Accounting 2 (Theory and Practice): 2 hours 30 minutes (9:30 am – 12:00 noon)
  • Financial Accounting 1 (Objective): 1 hour (12:00 noon – 1:00 pm)

Important Points to Note:

  1. Duration and Timing: Each examination paper has a specified duration. Candidates should adhere to the allocated time.
  2. Variation in Time: In case there is any discrepancy between the duration mentioned on the question paper and the timetable, candidates should follow the duration specified on the question paper.
  3. Special Note: The test of orals in English Language is available to candidates in Nigeria only, while the availability of certain papers is limited to candidates in Liberia only.
