  • Science: Plant Science & Biotechnology – 150, Animal & Environmental Biology – 150, Biotechnology – 160, Computer Science – 160
  • Social & Management Sciences: Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution – 150, Criminology & Security Studies – 150
  • All other courses: 140

Admission Requirements:

To be eligible for the screening exercise, prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Choose Borno State University as the first choice during the application process and obtain the minimum required cut-off marks for the desired programme.
  2. Have a minimum of five (5) relevant O’level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
  3. Candidates with a lower credit at National Diploma or Merit in NCE are eligible to register for Direct Entry (DE).
  4. If a candidate does not meet the required cut-off marks for their chosen programme, they must change to another relevant program through the JAMB portal.
  5. Both UTME and DE candidates must upload their A’level and O’level results on the JAMB portal. Failure to comply will result in the inability to process the candidate’s admission.
