  1. Log in to the official UNIPORT website at www.uniport.edu.ng.
  2. Input your UTME Registration Number and confirm pre-loaded UTME details.
  3. Generate a Remita code for payment using your master, visa, or verve card, or print out the payment slip and proceed to any of the designated banks (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK) to make a payment of ₦2,000 only.
  4. Obtain a Remita receipt from the bank teller, which will include an Access Code confirming your payment.
  5. Return to the online portal and log in using your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip.
  6. Complete the online form as required.
  7. Print a Photo Card, which will serve as your clearance for the Screening Exercise. It is advisable to reprint the Photo Card one day before the examination to ensure accuracy.
  8. Take note of the date and time of your screening as indicated on the Photo Card.

Materials Required for the Screening Exercise:

On the day of the screening exercise, candidates are advised to bring the following materials:

  1. A clear copy of the Photo Card printed during online registration.
  2. A pen.
  3. A photocopy of your O’Level Examination Certificate(s) (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB) and your Birth Certificate or Affidavit of Age Declaration.

Important Guidelines:

Here are some essential guidelines and information to note for a successful screening exercise:

  1. Consistency in the name and picture on the Registration Slip is crucial. Any inconsistency may lead to disqualification.
  2. Ensure that your name on your O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents is the same.
  3. Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2022 to be eligible for the exercise.
  4. Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, walkmans, and similar gadgets, as well as extraneous materials, are strictly prohibited within the Screening Venue and its surroundings.
  5. Candidates must complete the registration within the designated Registration Period, as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at Noon on Friday, September 28th, 2022.
  6. The registration process is entirely online, and candidates are not required to be physically present on the University Campus. It is advised to register from any location.
  7. Candidates who initially chose the University as their second choice but wish to be considered for admission must change their first choice to the University of Port Harcourt by Monday, October 24th, 2022.
  8. Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website promptly. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for admission.
  9. During registration, candidates must provide valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses for communication purposes.
  10. It is essential to report to the designated Screening Venues at the scheduled time indicated on the Photo Card. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  11. Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be granted access to the campus during the screening exercise.
