UNILORIN Post UTME Screening Form 2023/2024

The University of Ilorin is pleased to invite all candidates who have applied for admission into the University for the 2022/2023 academic session as their first choice, whether through UTME or Direct Entry, to participate in the upcoming Post UTME screening exercise.

In this blog post, we will provide you with all the necessary information and guidelines to successfully register and participate in the screening exercise.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Post UTME screening, UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Registration Dates: The registration for the Post UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, 7th November 2022, and end on Thursday, 16th December 2022. It is important to note and adhere to these dates to ensure a smooth registration process.

Registration Instructions:

1. Visit the University of Ilorin website: www.unilorin.edu.ng
2. Navigate to the ‘Undergraduate Portal’ and click on ‘Pre-admission screening instructions’ for detailed information regarding the registration process.
3. Make sure to provide accurate information during registration, as incorrect entries will result in automatic disqualification.
4. Candidates who are awaiting their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results should indicate by writing ‘AR.’
5. If necessary, any required changes of course should be done both on the Unilorin and JAMB portals for it to be considered valid.
6. Before commencing the registration process, ensure that you have a personal, valid, and active email address and phone number (not a cyber café’s).

Registration Process:

1. Log in using the official URL: https://uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng or visit www.unilorin.edu.ng and click on the ‘Undergraduate Portal.’
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on ‘Pre-admission Screening Registration’ under the Admission Menu.
3. Fill in the required fields, including your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Click on the ‘Get Details’ button to access UTME/DE information.
5. Provide all necessary details, including O’ Level and/or A’ Level grades or indicate ‘AR’ for Awaiting results.
6. Proceed to make a payment of ₦2,000 for the registration fee using the Remita platform.
7. Select your ATM card type (Visa or Master Card) and enter your card details.
8. Once payment is successful, do not refresh your browser to avoid multiple deductions from your account.
9. After payment, click on ‘admission login’ on the left-hand side of the undergraduate portal.
10. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname, then click ‘login.’
11. Follow the prompts to complete all necessary details and click the ‘submit’ button when you are sure all information has been accurately provided.

Important Dates:

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Post UTME examination will take place from the 7th to 16th of February 2023. Make sure to mark these dates on your calendar and prepare accordingly.
