David Nweze Umahi University of Medical Sciences (DNUUMS) was established with the goal of enhancing the quality of manpower development in the health sector and improving healthcare in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.

At its inception, DNUUMS had eleven deans overseeing the different faculties, with Professor Jesse Uneke serving as the Vice Chancellor, leading the institution.

Acceptance Fee: The acceptance fee is a fee paid by newly admitted students to demonstrate their acceptance of the admission offered by the university. Failure to pay the acceptance fee may result in the forfeiture of the admission offer. For DNUUMS, the acceptance fee is set at ₦20,000 (twenty thousand naira only).

Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure: To pay the acceptance fee at DNUUMS, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: www.kdums.edu.ng.
  2. Navigate to the acceptance fee menu.
  3. Select “pay acceptance fee with an ATM card.”
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number and click on the search button.
  5. Provide your phone number and email address.
  6. Click on the continue tab and select payment with an ATM card.
  7. Proceed by clicking the continue online payment tab.
  8. Click on “Pay now” to make the payment.
  9. Print the payment receipt and take it to the bank.
