Admission Requirements for Bayero University Kano: If you wish to seek admission into Bayero University Kano, you must meet the following requirements:
For JAMB UTME Admission:
- Obtain a minimum of five O’Level credits (SSCE/GCE) in no more than two sittings.
- Choose the correct course combination for your intended field of study during JAMB UTME registration.
- Score a minimum of 180 in the JAMB UTME examination to be considered for admission.
- Select BUK as your first-choice institution.
- Participate in the BUK Post-UTME screening exercise to be eligible for admission.
- Be at least 16 years old in the year of application.
For Direct Entry (DE) Admission:
- Obtain a minimum of five O’Level credits (SSCE/GCE) in no more than two sittings.
- Have passed two ‘A’ level/IJMB subjects related to your intended field of study.
- Obtain passes in JUPEB/A subjects related to your intended field of study.
- Depending on your chosen course, a degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a related discipline may also be required.
- Purchase the ABU Direct Entry Form from JAMB, complete the registration, and make the necessary payments.
- Have passed the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma, or any equivalent qualification related to your intended field of study.
